Salahuddin Rafiquddin
Salahuddin (who goes by Saladin more often than not) is interested in all things law. Nonetheless, he is particularly interested in national security legislation/agencies, intellectual property, and the power of algorithms and artificial intelligence to provide substantive justice. He completed his BA in International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs where he was also a junior systems administrator for the school and their research outfit, The Citizen Lab.
Along with his law degree, Salahuddin is concurrently completing his Masters in International Affairs at Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs focusing on conflict analysis and resolution. In his spare time, he volunteers as a national Fieldworker for Amnesty International.
When not dutifully reading his class materials, Salahuddin is usually fixing (read: breaking) some computeresque device and trying to hone his technical skills in case robots take over the world and require mechanics, rather than lawyers.
